Bamberg Sandkerwa®

Every year in August the "Bamberg Sandkerwa" takes place in the old part of town. In the "Sand" - the oldest living quarter of Bamberg - the anniversary of the Elisabethian church is being celebrated. Thousands of visitors roam the narrow streets around Schlenkerla. In the neighbouring "Dominikanerhof" - the former inner yard of the dominican monastery - there is a Schlenkerla garden for the festivities.
